As a facilitator, my role is to create an environment where people are empowered to do their best work and learning together to: :
  • Ensure the outcome is owned by the group and can be implemented
  • Enable groups to channel their expertise to achieve positive results 
  • Encourage full participation so no one person dominates the group
Facilitation is useful anytime you want a group of people to work together more collaboratively and effectively

As a people leader the more you understand about how and why your team behaves the way it does, the better equipped you will be to bring out the best in them.
In this team development program we use a collaborative process and a tool called PRISM Brain Mapping (PRISM) to help you and the team achieve your goals and be the best you you can be: 
  • Introductory workshop (1/2 day) with team,  including development of team benchmark
  • Team member PRISM profiles with individual coaching session
  • Develop team PRISM profile
  • Second workshop with team (1/2 day) – review team PRISM profile, identify individual and collective strengths and weaknesses, develop plan to enhance and leverage team strengths

My Portfolio

Some of my work includes : 
Recruitment 
​Recruiting the right people into the role and the organisation is the first crucial step in building excellent capability.  On this project, I  worked with a regulatory agency to benchmark their inspector role using a tool called PRISM Brain Mapping.  Each applicant shortlisted for interview was asked to complete the PRISM online questionnaire.  From that we created their individual PRISM profile and compared it to the benchmark.  While looking for the matches was important, it was as much about looking at the gaps and exploring these with the applicant to better udnerstand the whole person they will bring to the role.   We also offered the option for applicants to have a 1:1 debrief on their profile

Compliance Officer Learning and Development 
I've developed a range of icompliance officer induction programs,  training programs and continuing professional development workshops for operational staff, including inspectors, investigators, authorised officers, team leaders & managers. 
​ 
Accredited inspector/investigator programs
National qualification programs custom designed for the organisation, and delivered in collaboration with a registered training organisation.  These programs were developed for an existing operational workforce already doing the job.  A key feature was the integration into the participants workflow , the development of managers ability to lead modern workplace learning; while maintaining a valuable, and necessary, level of face-2-face group learning as part of a broader strategy to use learning and development as an agent for cultural change.

Learning Cultures 
On this project, I worked with a regulatory agency to design a learning culture framework as part of their journey to becoming a modern regulator.
